Karana Charity holds its general assembly and elects its new board of directors

The Karana Social Charity Association held its regular general assembly meeting, via the Zoom program, in implementation of the directives of the official authorities regarding the precautionary measures for the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, during which it elected members of its board of directors for the fifth session 2020-2022.

During the meeting, the members of the General Assembly listened to the literary report and financial reports of the association's work during its fourth session, which included the association's activity with regard to achieving its goals, with the help of poor and needy families, students, and purposes of treatment and disasters, stopping at some projects, as the literary report emphasized the effectiveness of electronic donation Who achieved a distinguished revenue level, as well as the program to increase the members of the General Assembly, and diversify its elements, with young faces, looking forward to further development of its revenues, and increase its media activity in the future, and he also reviewed its financial statements in terms of its revenues and expenses, expressing his thanks to all contributors and donors in favor of the work of the association.

The members of the General Assembly praised the work carried out by the administration, the constructive contribution and the endless giving that the pursuit of serving the community did not stop, wishing the members of the previous session all success, stressing the need for them to continue serving the association.

The work of the General Assembly ended with the formation of the Board of Directors of the Assembly for the fifth session, as it was composed of Messrs. Zuhair Hassan Makki as Chairman, Mahdi Radhi as Vice-Chairman, Hussein Al-Aswad as Financial Secretary, Ibrahim Noah as Secretary, Abbas Mirza, Mr. Hassan Al-Khabar and Mahmoud Al-Shabaq as members.

On this occasion, the President of the Association for the fourth session, Mr. / Salman Bujsam, confirmed his readiness and the members of the previous administration to stand with the new administration in its journey and its next path, and added, saying: We are pleased that the Board of Directors is formed from new faces, and that the Association throughout its long history of work, and the contributions of the founding members bear good A rich asset, and a rich legacy that the Board of Directors will have to enrich with the effectiveness of its young elements looking forward to developing the association.

For his part, Mr. Zuhair Hassan Makki, Chairman of the Board of Directors for the fifth session, confirmed his great thanks to the members of the previous board of directors, and to all the founders, praising their unlimited support, and added: We will work with my brothers, members of the Board of Directors, to strengthen the many elements of strength in the association, and build on the successes that have been achieved achieved, which will be the basis for any development, and that the Board of Directors will need the support of the community, and invest all energies and competencies in the work of the association.
